Greek Triple Candles

The Greek Triple Candle is very symbolic within the Greek Orthodox Church.  It represents the light of Christ according to Jesus’ own words,” I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12). Jesus spoke these words in the context of great lamps being lit at the conclusion of the Feast of Tabernacles and therefore He declares Himself to be the fulfillment and the divine object of all celebrations of light.
